Individual Terms of Sale

1.0 About These Terms
1.1 These Terms explain how GeiG sells and delivers products and services to you as an individual consumer.
1.2 Please read them carefully before placing an order. By making a purchase you agree to these Terms.
1.3 These Terms apply only to personal purchases. Business customers are covered by separate Business Terms of Sale.
1.4 Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
2.0 About Us
2.1 About GeiG. GeiG operates the website geig.co.uk and provides the products and services offered on the Site.
2.2 Service address: Riverside Business Centre, Fort Road, Tilbury, Essex, RM18 7ND, United Kingdom.
2.3 Contact. Email: support@geig.co.uk. Customer support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via live web chat or email, subject to occasional unavailability for maintenance. Chat transcripts are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3.0 Placing an Order
3.1 Orders may be placed online at the Site or through any authorised GeiG channel.
3.2 After placing an order you will receive an acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted.
3.3 A contract is formed when we send you an Order Confirmation or when we deliver the goods, whichever happens first.
3.4 If we cannot accept your order (for example due to stock availability, pricing error, or legal restriction), we will inform you and refund any payment promptly.
4.0 Prices and Payment
4.1 All prices shown on the Site include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
4.2 We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (for example debit/credit card or PayPal).
4.3 Payment in full is taken when you place your order unless stated otherwise.
4.4 If a pricing error is identified after you place an order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.
5.0 Delivery
5.1 We deliver to the address you provide at checkout.
5.2 Delivery times are estimates; we will notify you of any expected delay.
5.3 Ownership of goods transfers to you once payment is received and delivery is completed.
5.4 Risk transfers on delivery. Please check your order on receipt and report visible damage, shortage or delivery issues within 48 hours.
5.5 If you arrange your own courier, risk transfers when that courier collects the goods.
6.0 Your Right to Cancel
6.1 You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.
6.2 As a goodwill gesture, GeiG extends the return window to 30 days from delivery for unused, undamaged goods in their original packaging.
6.3 You can cancel in any of the following ways:
a) My Account: Log in and select Cancel Order (where available).
b) Email: Contact support@geig.co.uk with your name and order number.
c) Live Chat: Quote your order number to an agent.
6.4 We will confirm your cancellation in writing (email or chat transcript).
6.5 We will refund you in full (including standard delivery charges) within three working days of receiving the returned goods or eligible proof of return, whichever is earlier.
6.6 The 30-day goodwill cancellation applies only to unused, undamaged goods in original packaging.
6.7 You cannot cancel where the law excludes the right to cancel, including:
a) custom-made or personalised items;
b) sealed hygiene goods once opened;
c) digital content once downloaded or accessed (see Section 9).
7.0 Returns and Refunds
7.1 You may return qualifying items within 30 days as set out above.
7.2 Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7.3 Refunds are processed within three working days of receiving the returned goods or eligible proof of return.
7.4 Eligible proof of return includes a valid trackable courier receipt and correct return details.
7.5 Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
7.6 We may delay or refuse refunds if tracking cannot be verified, the wrong return address was used, or goods show use beyond reasonable inspection.
7.7 Refund confirmation is sent by email or chat once processed.
8.0 Product Information and Safety
8.1 We aim to describe products accurately, though minor variations may occur.
8.2 Product images are illustrative only.
8.3 If a product is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.
8.4 All GeiG products comply with applicable UK safety and environmental laws (for example UKCA, WEEE, RoHS).
9.0 Digital Products and Services
9.1 Digital or software products are delivered electronically, usually via email or account download.
9.2 By downloading or activating digital content, you lose your statutory right to cancel for that item. This will be made clear at checkout.
9.3 We aim to ensure compatibility where stated, but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device or system.
10.0 Warranty and Support
10.1 Products include a 12-month manufacturer warranty from delivery unless stated otherwise.
10.2 This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
10.3 Warranty exclusions include accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or modification, normal wear and tear, or third-party software issues.
10.4 For support or warranty claims, contact support@geig.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge warranty enquiries within 2 business days.
11.0 Security and Payments
11.1 We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal and payment data.
11.2 Card payments are processed in accordance with applicable PCI-DSS standards.
11.3 We never sell your personal data and only share it as described in our Privacy Policy.
12.0 Product Safety and Recalls
12.1 If a product recall is required, we will notify affected customers promptly and explain available remedies.
13.0 Limitation of Liability
13.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
13.2 We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of contract or negligence.
13.3 We are not liable for business losses or delays outside our control.
14.0 Data Protection and Privacy
14.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.2 You may exercise your data protection rights as set out in that policy.
15.0 Force Majeure
15.1 We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
15.2 If such events continue for more than 30 days, you may cancel undelivered items for a full refund.
16.0 Accessibility and Alternative Formats
16.1 We aim to make the Site and communications accessible. If you need content in an alternative format, contact support@geig.co.uk.
16.2 Requests are acknowledged within 2 business days and fulfilled within 5 business days where reasonably practicable.
17.0 Intellectual Property
17.1 All rights in the Site and its content are reserved. You may not use GeiG branding or content without prior written permission.
17.2 Third-party trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.
18.0 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
18.2 Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
18.3 Please contact support@geig.co.uk first to resolve complaints. You may also use the UK Online Dispute Resolution platform.
19.0 General Terms
19.1 These Terms form the full agreement between you and GeiG for your purchase.
19.2 If any part is invalid, the remainder remains in force.
19.3 We may update these Terms; the current version is posted on the Site.
19.4 The 30-day cancellation and 3-day refund timings are goodwill policies and do not affect statutory rights.
19.5 All cancellations and returns are logged electronically and confirmed in writing.
19.6 These Terms can be provided in large print on request.

A1. Cancel eligible orders within 30 days via My Account, Chat or Email.
A2. Refunds are processed within three working days of receipt of returned goods or eligible proof of return.
A3. The right to cancel ends for digital content once downloaded or accessed.
