Individual Terms of Sale

Effective from: 01/08/2025

1.0 About These Terms

1.1 These Terms explain how GeiG sells and delivers products and services to you as an individual consumer.
1.2 Please read them carefully before placing an order. By making a purchase you agree to these Terms.
1.3 These Terms apply only to personal purchases. Business customers are covered by separate Business Terms of Sale.
1.4 Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

2.0 About Us

2.1 Brand and operator. geig.co.uk is a trading name of Computerko Limited (company registration number 11125670) whose registered office is 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. Computerko operates and manages the Site and is the merchant for Site transactions.
2.2 Trade mark. GeiG is a trade mark of Meridian Peoples Holdings Limited. This is a limited IP notice only; Meridian is not otherwise referenced in these Terms.
2.3 Contact: support@geig.co.uk. Customer support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via live web chat or email, subject to occasional unavailability for maintenance. Chat transcripts are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3.0 Placing an Order

3.1 Orders may be placed online at the Site or by any authorised GeiG channel.
3.2 On placing an order you will receive an acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement is not acceptance.
3.3 A contract is formed when we send an Order Confirmation or when we deliver the goods, whichever occurs first.
3.4 If we cannot accept your order (for example due to stock, pricing error, or restriction), we will inform you and refund any payment promptly.

4.0 Prices and Payment

4.1 All prices shown on the Site include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
4.2 We accept the card schemes and payment options displayed at checkout (for example card and PayPal).
4.3 Payment in full is taken at the time you place your order unless otherwise stated.
4.4 If we discover a pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price; if not, we will cancel and refund you.

5.0 Delivery

5.1 We deliver to the address you supply at checkout.
5.2 Delivery times are estimates; we will notify you of any expected delay.
5.3 Ownership transfers to you once payment is received and delivery is completed.
5.4 Risk transfers on delivery. Please check your order on receipt and report visible damage, shortage or other delivery issues within 48 hours.
5.5 If you arrange your own courier, risk transfers once that courier collects the goods.

6.0 Your Right to Cancel

6.1 You have a legal right to cancel your order for most goods within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. This is your statutory right.
6.2 As a goodwill gesture, GeiG extends the return window to 30 days from delivery for unused, undamaged goods in original packaging.
6.3 You can cancel in the following ways:
a) My Account: Log in, go to My Orders and select Cancel Order (if available).
b) Email: support@geig.co.uk with your name and order number.
c) Live Chat: Contact us and quote your order number.
6.4 We will confirm cancellation in writing (email or chat transcript).
6.5 We will refund you in full (including standard delivery charges) within three working days of receiving the returned goods or eligible proof of return, whichever is earlier. (This is a goodwill policy and does not affect your statutory rights.)
6.6 The 30-day goodwill cancellation applies only to unused, undamaged goods in original packaging.
6.7 You cannot cancel where the law excludes the right to cancel, for example:
a) custom-made or personalised items;
b) sealed hygiene goods once opened; or
c) digital content once downloaded or accessed (see Section 9).

7.0 Returns and Refunds

7.1 You may return qualifying items within 30 days as set out above.
7.2 Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; we will repair, replace or refund in accordance with that Act.
7.3 Refunds will be processed within three working days of receiving the returned item or eligible proof of return, whichever is first.
7.4 Eligible proof of return includes a valid trackable courier receipt, evidence of correct return address and any return authorisation provided.
7.5 Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
7.6 We may delay or refuse refunds if tracking cannot be verified, the wrong return address was used, or goods show use or damage beyond reasonable inspection.
7.7 Refund confirmations are sent by email or chat when processed.

8.0 Product Information and Safety

8.1 We aim to describe products accurately; however, minor variations may occur.
8.2 Product images are illustrative only.
8.3 If a product is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.
8.4 All GeiG products comply with applicable UK safety and environmental laws (for example UKCA, WEEE, RoHS). Recycling and disposal guidance is available in our Environmental and Compliance Policies.

9.0 Digital Products and Services

9.1 Digital or software products are delivered electronically, usually by email or account download.
9.2 By downloading or activating digital content you will lose your statutory right to cancel for that item. We will make this clear at checkout.
9.3 We aim to ensure compatibility where stated, but cannot guarantee interoperability with every device or system.

10.0 Warranty and Support

10.1 Standard manufacturer warranty: 12 months from delivery, covering defects in materials or workmanship, unless otherwise stated.
10.2 This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
10.3 Warranty exclusions: accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repair/modification, normal wear and tear, or third-party software issues.
10.4 For support or warranty claims contact support@geig.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge warranty queries within 2 business days and to respond with next steps promptly.

11.0 Security, Data Breach and PCI-DSS

11.1 Computerko implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and payment information.
11.2 Data breach timeframe. If Computerko becomes aware of a personal data breach affecting Site data or your personal data, we will notify affected consumers and relevant authorities as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 24 hours of becoming aware, provide a preliminary report within 72 hours, and a full remediation plan within 10 business days, unless law or regulator requires otherwise.
11.3 PCI-DSS. Card transactions on the Site are processed in accordance with applicable PCI-DSS requirements. Computerko maintains or requires compliance from its payment partners and will provide evidence of such compliance on request.
11.4 We will never sell your personal data. We process and share personal data only as set out in our Privacy Policy (for example to couriers, payment processors and regulators where required).

12.0 Product Safety & Recalls

12.1 If a product recall is necessary, we will notify affected customers promptly and provide information on remedy options (repair, replacement or refund) and any return arrangements.

13.0 Limitation of Liability

13.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13.2 We are responsible for foreseeable losses resulting from our breach of contract or negligence.
13.3 We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, loss of data (unless caused by our negligence), or delays outside our control.

14.0 Data Protection and Privacy

14.1 We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By ordering you consent to the uses described there (processing, delivery, legal compliance, fraud prevention).
14.2 You can view our Privacy Policy on the Site for full details of rights and retention. We will assist you with data subject access requests as required by law.

15.0 Force Majeure

15.1 We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control (for example strikes, transport disruption, natural disaster).
15.2 If such events last more than 30 days you may cancel and receive a full refund for undelivered items.

16.0 Accessibility and Alternative Formats

16.1 We aim to make the Site and communications accessible. If you need content in an alternative format, contact support@geig.co.uk or info@meridianpeople.co.uk. We will acknowledge requests within 2 business days and will, where reasonably practicable, provide the alternative within 5 business days or agree a reasonable alternative timeframe.

17.0 Intellectual Property and Third-Party Rights

17.1 All rights in the Site and its content are reserved. “GeiG” is a trade mark owned by Meridian Peoples Holdings Limited and used by Computerko under licence. Other trade marks are the property of their respective owners. You may not use any trade mark without prior written permission.
17.2 All rights reserved.

18.0 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
18.2 We aim to resolve complaints quickly; please contact support@geig.co.uk in the first instance. You may also use the UK Online Dispute Resolution platform.

19.0 General Terms

19.1 These Terms form the full agreement between you and GeiG for your purchase.
19.2 If any part is invalid the remainder remains in force.
19.3 We may update these Terms; the current version is posted on the Site. Material changes will be notified to account holders.
19.4 The 30-day cancellation and 3-day refund timings are goodwill policies and do not affect your statutory rights.
19.5 All cancellations and returns via My Account, email or chat are logged electronically and you will receive written confirmation.
19.6 These Terms are in plain English and can be provided in large print on request.

Schedule A – Digital-Only Cancellation Process

A1. Cancel online within 30 days of delivery (where permitted) via My Account, Chat or Email.
A2. Refunds are processed within three working days of receipt of returned goods or eligible proof of return.
A3. Right to cancel ends for digital content once downloaded or accessed.
