1.0 About These Terms
1.1 These Website Terms of Use set out the rules for using geig.co.uk and any associated pages, subdomains, or services (the “Site”).
1.2 By accessing or using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1.3 These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site. Additional terms apply if you buy products or use account, cloud, or software features (see Section 3.0).
1.4 These Terms are intended to be simple and practical. If anything here is unclear, contact support@geig.co.uk.
2.0 Who We Are
2.1 geig.co.uk is a trading name of Computerko Limited (company registration number 11125670) (“Computerko”). Computerko operates and manages the Site and is responsible for Site transactions.
2.2 GeiG is a trade mark of Meridian Peoples Holdings Limited (“Meridian”). Meridian owns the GeiG trade mark and has authorised Computerko to use the trade mark for the Site and related sales.

3.0 Other Terms That Apply
3.1 These Terms work together with: Terms of Sale (Consumers), Terms of Sale (Business), Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns & Warranty information, Accessibility Statement, Cloud Services Terms and any service-specific terms. Those documents form part of your agreement with the Site where relevant.
3.2 At checkout you may be asked to accept the applicable Related Policies; that click-to-accept creates a binding agreement.
4.0 Merchant, Payments and Tax
4.1 Computerko Limited is the merchant of record for purchases made via the Site. Computerko issues invoices, collects payment, charges and accounts for VAT, handles customs for global sales where applicable, and manages returns, refunds and warranty claims for Site purchases unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.
4.2 Computerko will comply with payment-card industry standards (PCI-DSS) where applicable. Any alternative arrangements for particular sales will be indicated at checkout.
5.0 Accounts, Eligibility and Security
5.1 Some Site features require an account. Keep your details accurate and your login secure.
5.2 You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify support@geig.co.uk immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
5.3 To place orders you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract. Browsing is permitted from age 13 but purchases by under-18s must be made by a parent or guardian.
6.0 Acceptable Use
6.1 Use the Site lawfully and reasonably. You must not: attempt unauthorised access or disruption; introduce malware or viruses; scrape or harvest data beyond robots.txt allowances; copy or frame the Site without permission; or use the Site to infringe rights.
6.2 We may monitor activity to protect the Site and investigate misuse.
7.0 Content and Product Information
7.1 We make reasonable efforts to ensure Site content and product information is accurate. Product images and descriptions are guidance only; the Terms of Sale govern purchases.
7.2 We are not responsible for third-party content linked from the Site.
8.0 Intellectual Property
8.1 The Site and its content (including the GeiG trade mark) are protected by intellectual property rights. Meridian owns the GeiG trade mark; Computerko’s right to use the mark is by licence from Meridian.
8.2 You may view or print pages for personal use only. Do not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission.
8.3 Third-party trade marks. All other trade marks, product names, logos and brand identifiers appearing on the Site (including those of third parties) are the trade marks or trade names of their respective owners. We respect the trade mark and other intellectual property rights of third parties and expect users to do the same. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use any trade mark, logo or brand of a third party without the prior written permission of the owner.
8.4 All rights reserved. All rights in the Site and its content are reserved. No part of the Site may be reproduced, stored, transmitted or used in any form or by any means except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with prior written permission.
9.0 User Content and Notice
9.1 If you post content (for example, reviews) you confirm you have the right to grant Computerko a non-exclusive licence to host and use that content.
9.2 If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@geig.co.uk with details and supporting evidence; we will review and may remove content while investigating.
10.0 Privacy and Cookies; Data Controller
10.1 Computerko Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected via the Site, unless otherwise stated in the Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2 We use cookies and similar technologies; see our Cookie Policy for details. By using the Site you accept the use of cookies as set out in that policy.
11.0 Security, Data Breach and PCI-DSS Warranty
11.1 Computerko implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site and data but cannot guarantee total security.
11.2 Data breach timeframe. If Computerko becomes aware of a personal data breach affecting the Site or Website-held data, Computerko will: (a) notify Meridian (info@meridianpeople.co.uk) and any affected users and regulators within 24 hours of becoming aware; (b) provide a preliminary report within 72 hours with known facts and initial remediation steps; and (c) provide a full report and remediation plan within 10 business days, unless law or regulator requires different timing. Computerko will assist with regulatory reporting and remediation.
11.3 PCI-DSS warranty. Computerko warrants that it will maintain compliance with applicable PCI-DSS requirements for card transactions processed via the Site and shall promptly provide evidence of compliance on request. Computerko indemnifies Meridian and Site users against fines, costs or losses arising from Computerko’s failure to maintain PCI-DSS compliance or its breach of PCI obligations.
12.0 Subcontracting and Third Parties
12.1 Computerko may engage subcontractors (for hosting, payments, delivery, analytics, etc.). Computerko remains responsible for the acts and omissions of its subprocessors and subcontractors and must ensure they meet equivalent obligations.
13.0 Liability and Warranties
13.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13.2 To the extent permitted by law, Computerko excludes other warranties and is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or business interruption arising from use of the Site. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13.3 Computerko indemnifies Meridian against losses resulting from Computerko’s breach of data protection or PCI obligations and from Computerko’s negligent operation of the Site.
14.0 Suspension, Termination and Handover
14.1 Computerko may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or pose security risks. We may also temporarily suspend the Site for maintenance.
14.2 On termination of Computerko’s operation of the Site, Computerko will cooperate to provide reasonable assistance to ensure continuity and to transfer data, subject to legal and privacy obligations.
15.0 Accessibility and SLA for Alternative Formats
15.1 We aim to make the Site accessible. If you need content in an alternative format, contact support@geig.co.uk or info@meridianpeople.co.uk. Computerko will acknowledge requests within 2 business days and will, where reasonably practicable, provide the requested alternative format within 5 business days. If a longer period is required (for example, complex conversions), we will inform you and propose a reasonable alternative timeframe.
16.0 Changes to These Terms
16.1 We may update these Terms; the current version is posted on the Site. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders (for example, by email or site notice).
17.0 Governing Law
17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring claims in their local courts.

18.2 For trade mark enquiries and IP complaints contact Meridian Legal (IP Agent) at info@meridianpeople.co.uk. IP complaints will be acknowledged within 5 business days and Meridian aims to resolve routine trademark or IP queries within 20 business days, subject to complexity.
