Warranty at a glance

24 months standard cover

Your GeiG hardware is covered for qualifying defects in materials or workmanship during normal use.

Battery cover

Batteries are covered for qualifying faults for 6 months. Normal battery ageing is not covered.

30 day DOA support

If your device arrives faulty, we prioritise assessment and replacement where the fault is confirmed.

Worldwide validity, UK service

Your warranty is valid worldwide, with service normally fulfilled through our UK support centre.

What is not covered

Some issues fall outside standard warranty cover. We will always explain the next step clearly before any chargeable work proceeds.

How to make a warranty claim

Start your claim

Contact GeiG through My Account, live chat or support@geig.co.uk.

Share device details

Provide your serial number, proof of purchase, fault description, photos, videos or diagnostic logs where available.

Get an RMA

We review your claim and issue return instructions where a physical inspection is needed. Please do not send your device before receiving an RMA.

Repair, replace or refund

After diagnosis, GeiG will confirm the appropriate remedy for a covered fault.

Back up your data
Remove passwords and account locks
Remove personal files where possible
Pack the device securely
Send only requested accessories
Follow lithium battery courier instructions

GeiG is not responsible for data loss during inspection, repair or replacement. Please back up your device before service.

Service timing

Most warranty assessments are targeted for completion within 5–10 working days after receipt and diagnosis.

Extended Warranty: faster help when it matters

Extended Warranty gives eligible customers enhanced priority support, clearer escalation and additional continuity options where a covered issue affects productivity.

Priority support

Extended Warranty claims are prioritised for faster review, diagnosis and next-step confirmation.

Loan device option

Where a covered issue cannot be resolved, or an approved next step cannot be confirmed, within 24 hours after diagnosis, GeiG may arrange a loan device.

Subject to plan level, availability, eligibility, approval, identity checks and return conditions.

In-person support option

Where requested and approved, GeiG may offer in-person support in a suitable public space near the preferred location.

Subject to location, appointment availability, risk assessment, staff availability and approval. Not provided in private homes.

Extended Warranty benefits depend on the selected plan, device eligibility, location, support capacity, parts availability and approval by GeiG.

International warranty support

GeiG warranty is valid worldwide, but service is normally handled through the UK support centre.

Customers outside the UK may need to ship the device to the UK
Customs, duties, taxes and courier restrictions may apply
Service times may be longer for international claims
GeiG will provide instructions before return shipping

This warranty is provided in addition to your legal rights. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
